125 mm Round (HE, HEAT-T, APFSDS-T)
- HE: High-explosive round is used mainly against enemy personnel and to destroy buildings.
- HEAT-T: Anti-tank round with the inner shaped charge.
- HEAT-PRACTICE-T: This high-explosive round is intended for the purpose of tank crew training.
- APFSDS-T: This armour-piercing cartridge consists of a fin-stabilized subprojectile and a tracer assembly attached to the rear of the fin.
81 mm FRAGMENTATION MORTAR ROUND
The 81-mm High-Explosive mortar bomb AR-M81 is intended for effective engagement of troops, shelters and light-armoured targets.
The ammunition is intended for use with 81-mm smooth-bore mortars including the following:
· M1
· M29
· M252
· L16A1 and L16A2
· Hirtenberger M8-111
· Hirtenberger M8-211The ammunition is safe in storage and handling and insures reliable operation of the mortar systems in all weather conditions.
60 mm FRAGMENTATION MORTAR ROUND
The 60 mm High-Explosive Mortar Bomb AR-M60 is intended for engagement of troops in open or in light shelters.
The ammunition is designed for use with the 60 mm smooth-bore mortars, including the following:
· M2
· M19
· M224
· Hirtenberger “Commando”
· Hirtenberger M6-111 and M6-211The ammunition is safe in storage and handling and ensures the reliable performance of the mortar systems in all weather conditions.
60 mm MORTAR ROUND WITH SMOKE PROJECTILE
This smoke cartridge is fired in 60mm mortars M2 or M19 and is used for screening and spotting.
The complete round consists of a projectile body with a PD fuze, a fin assembly and a 2 inch extension, four increments of propellant charge, an ignition cartridge, and a percussion primer. The projectile body is a relatively thin walled steel cylinder with a conical base, and is filled with a charge of white phosphorous. The base is internally threaded to accept the fin assembly.
The projectile nose is fitted with a steel adapter, internally threaded to accept the fuze, and designed to hold the sleeve of the burster assembly. One of two types of burster assemblies is used, differing only in the construction of the steel burster casing. Both carry the same designation. The burster charge consists of tetryl pellets under pressure, and the burster casing is press-fitted into the adapter in the projectile nose.
120 MM HE MORTAR ROUND OF-EM-843B
The 120-mm High-Explosive Mortar Bomb VOF-843B is intended for effective engagement of troops, shelters and lightly armoured targets.
The ammunition is designed for use with 120-mm smoothbore mortars including the following:
· Mod. 1938
· Mod. 1943
· 2B11 “Sani”
· 2S12 “Sani”
· V-24The ammunition is safe in storage and handling and ensures reliable performance of the mortar systems in all weather conditions.
120 mm SMOKE MORTAR ROUND D-EM-843B
Smoke mortar round is a special ammunition, designed for screening the enemy observation and command posts, firing positions of batteries and fire emplacements.
The ammunition is designed for use with 120-mm smoothbore mortars including the following:
· Mod. 1938
· Mod. 1943
· 2B11 “Sani”
· 2S12 “Sani”
· V-24The ammunition may be used for many other tactical tasks.
120 mm ILLUMINATING MORTAR ROUND EM-S-843
The 120 mm Mortar Illuminating (MILL) round is used for illumination of target areas during night missions or low visibility conditions.
The round functions by way of a time fuze, in a height from 500 m to 700 m wherein the front and rear body are split, ejecting the parachute and illumination kit.
Round is delivered as a ready to fire in 2-round containers, equipped with fuze and charge system.
