Tanks, upgrades and retrofit

M60 retrofit, parts and upgrade

The M60A3 upgrade and overhaul programme offers fleet operators a cost-effective way to upgrade the platform and bring it in line with the capabilities of other 3rd Generation Main Battle Tanks.

The integration of modern Fire Control Systems, a new main gun, improved power systems and protection systems designed to counter threats greatly enhances lethality, mobility, and crew survivability.

T72 retrofit, parts and upgrade

C4I COMMUNICATION developed a program to comprehensively upgrade the T-72 tank, the world’s most popular medium-weight tank. This program includes individual technical packages that can be implemented either together or separately, depending on the customer’s needs and budget. Although the T-72 is considered outdated, its performance can be improved with this upgrade.

The tank is being upgraded with packages that focus on subsystems such as the targeting system and gun control unit, a power transmission gearbox with high power engine, improved cooling system, additional passive or reactive armouring, crawling system, system to detect laser radiation, modifications to the intercom and external communication systems, navigation systems and detectors to protect against weapons of mass destruction.

M109 retrofit, parts and upgrade

C4I COMMUNICATION has created a program to modernize the M109 tank, which has become a popular mobile artillery platform for 40 nations due to its combat effectiveness. This program offers repairs, RESET, overhauls, and upgrades to M109s, ranging from older versions to newer versions and country-specific configurations. Several of the upgrades available for the M109 have already been adopted by the U.S. Army.

OBSERVATION UNITS

SIGHT SYSTEM 1K13

INSTRUMENTS OF SENSING AND OBSERVATION FOR TANK T-72

  • The modernization of observation and sighting devices (using thermal imaging technologies) was developed:
  • 1K13-MBT, expected performance: 1K13-MBT working distance – detection of 5000 meters, recognition of
    4000 meters around the clock.
  • The above-mentioned modernized observation and sighting devices use thermal imaging nodes (effective
operation in low light conditions, snow, fog, smoke screens, dustiness, etc.)
